EVENT REGISTRATION: CANCELLATION, REFUND AND PAYMENT POLICY

1. PURPOSE OF POLICY
The purpose of this policy is to establish firm practice for administrating cancellation, refund and payment of Glad Tidings event registrations.

2. TYPE OF EVENT REGISTRATIONS
There are two type of event registrations:
(1) Conference/Seminar/Course
(2) Church Camp/VBS

3. CONFERENCE/SEMINAR/COURSE

3.1. CANCELLATION
All cancellations and request for refund of member/participant registration must be submitted in writing (email to [email protected]). Cancellation request received up to 4 weeks prior to event dates will receive a 100% refund on fees paid. Cancellation received less than 4 weeks prior to event start date is not refundable.

3.2. SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitution is allowed at any time right up until the last business day before the event starts. However, member/participant must contact GT to update participant’s information. GT would not process substitutions at Registration Counter on actual event day.

3.3. NO-SHOWS
Registered member/participant who does not attend the event and have not cancelled will not be refunded.

3.4. PAYMENT TERM
Member/participant place is not confirmed until full payment is received. All fees are charged in MYR.

4. CHURCH CAMP/VBS

4.1. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of registration is allowed 6 weeks before camp/VBS start date, you will receive a credit minus RM100 penalty per registration on fees paid. Cancellation received less than 6 weeks prior to camp/VBS start date is not refundable.

4.2. SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitution is allowed at any time right up until the last business day before the event starts. However, member/participant must contact GT to update camper’s information. GT would not process substitutions at Registration Counter on actual event day.

4.3. NO-SHOWS
Registered campers who do not attend the camp/VBS and have not cancelled will not be refunded.

4.4. Payment Terms
Camper’s place is not confirmed until full payment is received. All fees are charged in MYR.

5. PRIVACY POLICY
By registering for a Glad Tidings events, GT retain member/participant/camper name, NRIC number, address, telephone number and e-mail address. From time to time we will use this information to contact member/participant/camper directly with updates about the event for which individual is registered and other news from Glad Tidings. Member/participant/camper is free to unsubscribe at any time.
